Depating from London we head to our first stop Warwick Castle. Go back in time through Warwick Castle's 1,000 year history to a time of bloody battles, extravagant banquets and royal ceremony. Visit the magnificent interiors of the Great Hall & State Rooms, climb the Towers and Ramparts for an archer’s view of the historic town of Warwick, and enter the multi-sensory Kingmaker attraction and journey back to 1471 as Richard Neville prepares his army for battle. Alternatively, you might like to stroll through some of the 60 acres of Warwick Castle's landscaped gardens.

Next it's a short drive to our next stop, the legendary birthplace and home of William Shakespeare; Stratford-upon-Avon. This impressive market town is full of English charm and Shakespearean culture. If you have ever used the expression: 'Too much of a good thing', 'Come what may' or 'laughing stock,' you are quoting the great playwright. You will have the chance to visit his Birthplace, and gain a fascinating insight into his life. Take some time and explore the town itself. You'll notice images of Shakespeare everywhere and even walk through many related exhibits and displays. Close by on the River Avon is Holy Trinity Church is where Shakespeare was baptized, worshiped and buried.

The tour then moves onto Oxford, our final stop. A charming university town centred just as in Cambridge by it's iconic world renowed university. Oxford known as 'the city of Dreaming Spires' is the oldest univerisity in the english speaking world. However,as in Cambridge, Oxford also has an impressive list of scholars with renowed alunmi including Bill Clinton and famed 20th century novelists Lewis Carroll and J.R.R. Tolklen to name a few. We enjoy a walking tour of this historic city. Stroll through the streets surrounded by bright stoned buildings, aborbing a sense of tradition and history. Discover the tiny alleyways and windy back roads that likely inspired Lewis Carroll when he wrote Alice in Wonderland. There is an impressive 36 colleges that make up the univeristy and you'll have a chance to wander through the courtyards and quadrangles of many of the famous colleges including Queens,Corpus Chrisiti and Christ Church college which would be familar to Harry Potter fans as many scenes were filmed here. We'll have time to stop by the Bodleian Library, and the famed Radcliffe Camera. Bodleian is the main rearch library of the univeristy and one of the oldest in Europe. It holds over 12 million items and is the second largest library in the United Kingdom after the British library in London. We leave Oxford and travel onwards to London where this tour ends.

Shakespeare’s Birthplace plus
Shakespeare’s New Place
was his family home from 1597 until he died in the house in 1616. The house was demolished in 1759, a registered garden has been designed to commemorate the importance of the site and allow visitors to make their own personal connection with Shakespeare.
When Shakespeare bought New Place he was an established playwright and it is believed that he wrote his later plays there, including The Tempest.
Follow in Shakespeare’s footsteps through a new entrance on the site of the original gatehouse and enjoy a contemporary landscape that reveals the footprint of the Shakespeare family home. The re-imagined site gives an impression of the scale of New Place and relationship to the surrounding buildings; such as the neighbouring King Edward VI School and Guild Chapel that were once attended by a young Shakespeare.
